Oscar Newman LLC Moves to New Office/Warehouse Space
Geneva, IL - July 13, 2010. Oscar Newman LLC is moving to a new office warehouse space in order to expand their operations this July 15. Oscar Newman is known primarily for their luxury pet couture brand of clothing where they create hand-embellished apparel for pets, including their widely popular hand-smocked dresses for dogs. Last August 2009, Oscar Newman launched their latest line of organic coconut oil products for pets, called CocoTherapy®. "Since its launch, CocoTherapy has experienced tremendous growth." said Charisa Antigua, CEO & co-founder of Oscar Newman LLC. "It's indicative that the organic, holistic segment of the pet industry is going strong despite the rocky economy. Pet owners want alternative, healthier options for their pets and are willing to spend more for these natural options."
Oscar Newman's office/warehouse space has a loading dock, which was one of the top items on the company's wish list when looking for their new space. "With the CocoTherapy shipments, larger trucks and heavier pallets were becoming the norm," said Antigua. "It made sense, especially being a woman-dominated company", she added laughing. The new office will also have a design studio and a photography studio for the Oscar Newman collections, which are released twice a year.
For Oscar Newman, the move indicates promising growth. "We hope that this is a sign of an improving and stabilizing economy," said Antigua. "We've always believed that the pet industry was somewhat recession-resistant and this is proof-positive that the pet industry is remaining strong."
